Margaree Area Development Association
Established in 1972, the Margaree Area Development Association (MADA) is a community-based not-for-profit organization whose mission is to represent the interests of residents through supporting or developing our environmental, social, cultural and economic heritage.
MADA coordinates many projects in Margaree with the help of many volunteers, including its Board of Directors.

Everyone is welcome to attend MADA’s monthly meetings. Meetings are held at the Margaree Meeting Place, next door to the the Coady Tompkins Memorial Library at 7972 Cabot Trail in Margaree Forks. Minutes of the most recent MADA meetings are available in hard-copy at the library. MADA does not meet during July and August.
